Advantage Dirt will be reducing traffic to a single lane on Umptanum Road and Anderson Road starting March 2nd for installation of utilities and frontage improvements as part of the WinCo Distribution Center Project. For questions, contact Advantage Dirt at (509) 933-4232.
The Kittitas County Railroad History Association is stopping at Easton High School today to deliver an unfinished 1/8 scale model of the historic Northern Pacific Railroad Easton Depot. The 11-foot-long replica will be delivered at noon on Thursday. Easton students will participate in finishing the siding, roofing, and painting of the depot model. The project is funded by a $10,000 grant from the Ellensburg Parks and Recreation Department.
It's Invasive Species Awareness Week. Learn about aquatic invasive species, including noxious weeds, and the prevention methods being used to defend Washington's waters. Webinars are available throughout the week.

The Central Washington University Men's Basketball team hosts rival Western Washington tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Nicholson Arena. The Wildcats then host Simon Fraser on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. for Senior Day on the final week of the season.
The Central Washington University Softball team plays Menlo at 11:30 a.m. on Friday in Tracy, CA.
The Central Washington University Baseball team plays Montana State Billings at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in Yakima.

The FISH Open Table Lunch is Chicken Alfredo, Garlic Lemon Broccoli and peaches The lunch is open to all seniors age 60-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ellensburg Open Table, and noon to 1 p.m., at the Cle Elum Seventh Day Adventist Church. The community lunch for anyone needing a hot meal is from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ellensburg Open Table.
