This is the first new city playground built in Ellensburg since 2012. The project cost a little more than $200,000, paid for through the city's real estate excise tax along with a $20,000 contribution from the Ellensburg Morning Rotary Club, which also helped install the equipment in April. The playground includes inclusive play features, swing sets for all ages, a merry-go-round, and a large play structure.
