The city of Cle Elum is planning to survey residents to see how they feel about paying higher taxes and fees — or getting rid of city assets — as part of its Chapter 9 bankruptcy case. The city began advertising for a “request for proposals” on Aug. 4 to find a company that conducts public survey opinions.
The City of Ellensburg is developing a Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Sustainable Funding Plan (PROS Plan) to identify an investment strategy for enhancing parks, recreation facilities, and trails.
The Kittitas Valley Memorial Pool & Fitness Center will be closed for annual maintenance and cleaning from Sunday, August 24 to Sunday, September 7. The pool will reopen with a new fall schedule on Monday, September 8.
