It’s Rodeo and Fair week, so look for traffic updates near the fairgrounds, including temporary stop signs on Chestnut St. and some one-way streets. Expect to see increased pedestrian traffic around the fairgrounds. Please use caution when traveling in the area.
The City of Ellensburg is updating the Ellensburg
@CentralTransit Strategic Plan and has launched a survey to learn about residents’ experiences and priorities related to services.
In observance of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no City Bus fixed route service, Dial-A-Ride or Yakima-Ellensburg Commuter on Monday, September 1st. Normal services will resume on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Just a reminder that the Central Washington University Football season kicks off next week on Thursday vs RV Colorado Mesa at home next Thursday.

LUNCH
The FISH Open Table Lunch is Loaded Baked Potato with a Roll and Nectarines. The lunch is open to all seniors age 60-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ellensburg Open Table, and noon to 1 p.m., at the Cle Elum Seventh Day Adventist Church. The community lunch for anyone needing a hot meal is from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ellensburg Open Table.
