The Washington State Department of Transportation is advising travelers on Interstate 90 that traffic will worsen as bridge deck repair work continues through the summer between North Bend and the summit of Snoqualmie Pass.
A member of the Ellensburg Arts Commission and a commissioner on the city’s Affordable Housing Commission have resigned from their positions. Jill Scheffer and Peter Stone both submitted resignation letters to the city.
Kittitas County commissioners will meet next week to take public comment on proposed amendments to the county’s 2025 budget.
Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Ellensburg will be moving forward with remodeling of a building on Radio Hill into administrative offices.

The lunch is open to all seniors age 60-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ellensburg Open Table, and noon to 1 p.m., at the Cle Elum Seventh Day Adventist Church. The community lunch for anyone needing a hot meal is from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ellensburg Open Table.
