Kittitas County Superior Court James Kirkham has rejected a request by an Ellensburg man to keep secret the names of 309 people who have petitioned the city of Ellensburg to abandon its diversity, equity and inclusion policies.
The two international students at Central Washington University who had their visas revoked by the federal government have gotten their visas reinstated, according to the university.
There will be no access to the gravel lots on the east side of Rotary Park due to construction. Access will be restored today or Friday.
The alley between Ruby St./Sprague St. and Tacoma Ave./Manitoba Ave. will be closed Friday, May 9, 2025 for a contractor to move an overhead electrical service to an underground service.
The Ellensburg Arts Commission will meet tonight at 4 p.m. at the Ellensburg City Council Conference Room.

The 2025 GNAC Baseball Tournament, May 8-9 in Ellensburg, pits Northwest Nazarene, Montana State Billings, and Central Washington in a double-elimination format for the conference championship.
Central Washington University Track And Field participates in the GNAC Outdoor Championships in Bellingham tomorrow and in the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Pueblo, Colorado on Thursday, May 22nd.
The Ellensburg Boys Varsity Soccer Team beat Toppenish 1-0 on Tuesday.
