A settlement conference for the Cle Elum bankruptcy case has been scheduled for Oct. 21. The date of the settlement hearing was approved Thursday. It’s the next major milestone to come since Cle Elum filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy in June in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington

CWU Women’s Soccer tied UC Merced over the weekend 1-1
CWU Women’s Volleyball team won 3-0 over the weekend at Hawaii Pacific
The Men’s Cross Country team came in fourth and the Women’s team came in third at the Cougar Classic in Colfax over the weekend

LUNCH
The FISH Open Table Lunch is Beef and Pork Bolognese with Green Beans and Plums. The lunch is open to all seniors age 60-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ellensburg Open Table, and noon to 1 p.m., at the Cle Elum Seventh Day Adventist Church. The community lunch for anyone needing a hot meal is from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ellensburg Open Table.
