Friday, February 2nd 

 

Kairos Lunch Concert @ Hal Holmes Community Center, 209 N. Ruby, Ellensburg. Informal, fun, 40-minute concerts for the community featuring CWU music professors, students, and Ellensburg community members performing a wide variety of very short pieces. Everyone is welcome – in particular young children who have a hard time sitting still, and so usually don’t attend concerts. A low hum of background noise, chomping sounds, and impromptu dancing are to be expected.  Free/ All Ages

Music with DJ Kyle Watt and First Friday Reception. @ Gallery One, 408 N. Pearl Street, Ellensburg.  Play putt putt golf at Ball in Play  an interactive exhibit by local artists.  Two Options to Play: Option #1: Free PlayGrab a ball and putter and get going!

Option #2: For the Win! Competitive players are invited to purchase a scorecard for $5. Submit your card with scores for a chance to win the Lucky Duck Lego Trophy made by Pat Stanton, one of two $50 Gallery Gift Cards or Two 18 Hole Rounds of Golf w/ Cart at the Ellensburg Golf Club. Winners announced February 29.

Also an exhibit by Gallery One members will be showing.

Swing Dance lessons with The Elllensburg Big Band @ Hal Holmes Center, 209 N. Ruby St., Ellensburg. Free/ All Ages/ All Levels. Made possible by The Ellensburg Arts commission and The Ellensburg Public  Library. The Swing Dance Project is a series of free swing dance lessons Monday evenings through 2024. It will start with a beginner’s lesson at 7pm, followed by an intermediate lesson around 7:45pm, and open social dancing until 9:30pm!   7PM
