Jazz Combo Concert, @ CWU McIntyre Music Building Recital Hall.  Free. 6PM

 

Celtic Christmas, Irish group Evergreen will perform A Celtic Christmas @ McConnell Auditorium, CWU. The all-female trio of harp, violin and voice is known for its “haunting sound, Irish charm and extravagant dresses,” university officials said.  $23.50- $30 available online. 7PM

CWU Chamber Choir by Candlelight, @ First United Methodist Church, 210 North Ruby Street, Ellensburg.  The Silence of The Stars, with Tim Ribner, Marie Marchand, Jeff Selden.  This concert experience explores themes of the season, but is not a traditional holiday concert. Contemporary choral works, as well as music from a diversity of cultures and spiritual traditions, will highlight themes of sharing, giving, healing, peace, and strengthening community. $10-$20 Tickets online through Wildcat Tickets.  Music starts at 6:40, Concert at 7PM

 

John Proctor Is The Villian, @ CWU Performing Arts, Milo Smith Tower Theatre, Ellensburg.  John Proctor is the Villain follows a group of high school students as they study Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. When the teens start questioning what really happened in Salem, they also reveal bigger questions about society’s views on young people, particularly young women’s agency, power, and truth. John Proctor is the Villain is a dynamic coming of age story by a major new voice.  Some sensitive content is portrayed in this play.  Multiple performances, Friday 7PM, Saturday 7PM and Sunday 2PM.  Tickets $15-$18 at Wildcat ticketing.

KG3 is playing at The Time Out Saloon following the parade.

 

Cle Elum Downtown Association's Lighted Christmas Parade.  This year’s theme is Vintage Christmas.  Parade Check will be at Railroad and Pennsylvania Avenue - Line-up along Railroad Avenue heading East - Parade starts at Peoh Avenue heading West - Parade ends at Pennsylvania Avenue.  6PM

 

Community Contra Dance @ Hal Holmes Center, 201 Ruby Street, Ellensburg. All dances are taught, so even if you don’t have a clue what it is, come give it a try. There is live music, and all are welcome: singles, couples, children, beginners, whoever. The dance is free thanks to the Ellensburg Public Library. 7:30PM-10:30PM

Join Valley Voices Community Choir as they prepare for winter concerts and caroling!   They are a non-auditioned, mixed group choir for older teens and up. $20/month suggested donation.
