A record rainfall off 0.45 inches was set in Ellensburg on Tuesday. This breaks the old record of 0.29 inches set in 2010. The trails at Irene Rinehart Riverfront Park are closed due to flooding. Anyone wanting to access the park will need to go in via the trail from Rotary Park.
Travelers near Cle Elum can expect single-lane and shoulder closures on westbound Interstate 90 throughout the week as work has begun to replace the Bullfrog Road overpass. A week-long, full closure of the westbound lanes is expected later this month as crews install the girders for the new westbound overpass.
Puget Sound Energy will be offering help with bill assistance today at the Roslyn Public Library from 4-6 p.m. Bring in your bill and a PSE representative will be there to help you fill out the application form.Â

The FISH Open Table Lunch schedule is not out for December but we know the lunch is open to all seniors age 60-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ellensburg Open Table, and noon to 1 p.m., at the Cle Elum Seventh Day Adventist Church. The community lunch for anyone needing a hot meal is from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ellensburg Open Table.
