Central Washington University President Jim Wohlpart is eliminating the Vice President for University Relations position and absorbing some of the tasks himself after reviewing the biennial budget proposals from Gov. Bob Ferguson.
Outdoor enthusiasts Dina Yarbrough and J. Michelle Swope will be celebrating a double ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Crow Creek Fly Shop and Guide Service and Wildlife Photography. Their side-by-side businesses will hold a grand opening Saturday, April 5 up in downtown Roslyn.
Book Club is happening tonight at the Roslyn Public Library at 5:30 p.m. tonight.

On First Friday, April 4th ECR and The INK will be hosting an immersive installation and music presentation by General Disturbance.
The music moves from soft, airy sounds of ambient music to the heartbeat rhythms of electronic drum and bass. Performance artist, James Scott Peters & Co. will transform The INK with light visuals cast throughout the space and a synchronized musical performance.
Head down anytime between 5pm to 8pm for this interactive experience! The INK is the home of the ECR studio and is located at 405 N. Main in downtown Ellensburg.
Featured Artist/Exhibit: "Paper Trails: Conservation and the Spirit of Ellensburg" features a talented group of artists—Matthew Wenz, Sari Jack, Justin Colt Beckman, Christina Miller, Erin Oostra, Kyle Krauskopf, and Keven Thompson—who explore the beauty of the our local landscape through paper-based art. A portion of the show’s proceeds will support KEEN (Kittitas Environmental Education Network), a local nonprofit dedicated to environmental education and preservation.

SPORTS
The Central Washington University Men’s Baseball team plays Saint Martin’s at noon and a second game at 3 p.m. on Friday.
The Central Washington University Women’s Softball team is playing Simon Fraser at 3 p.m. at Simon Fraser in Burnaby, B.C. and a second game at Simon Fraser at 5 p.m.
Central Washington’s Men’s Track team travels to Spokane, Washington to compete in the Whitworth Peace Meet on Friday, April 4th at Puryear Field/Boppell Track at Whitworth Pine Bowl.
WEATHER
The forecasted high today in Ellensburg is 58 degrees, 61 degrees on Friday, 64 on Saturday and 65 on Sunday.
LUNCH
The FISH Open Table Lunch is Beef Stew cooked with carrots, garlic, mushrooms, herbs, and potatoes, a roll and applesauce. . The lunch is open to all seniors age 60-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ellensburg Open Table, and noon to 1 p.m., at the Cle Elum Seventh Day Adventist Church. The community lunch for anyone needing a hot meal is from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ellensburg Open Table.
